     I think that every member of our Wine Club can agree with that statement.  We are in our 7th year together, and still going strong.  Our family of friends comprises a total of 11 individuals, all possessing totally different likes & dislikes when it comes to vino.  We meet monthly in suburban PA (about 10 miles removed from Philly), pick a theme, buy a corresponding bottle of wine, and have a great time. 

     I cannot remember a night in which we did NOT plow right through every selection.  So, that's 11 bottles for 11 people, and often times more if the party is still going.  
     
      In between the laughing & verbal assults on each other, we do manage to keep track of our individual ratings and somehow actually learn something.  We rank the wines we consume at our meetings on a scale of 1 to 10.  The first 5 or 6 bottles always get a fair assessment.  After that...well, everything after that tastes like a 10!!!  Starting to get the picture here...we're not spitters like the true sommeliers.  These ratings will be posted on this site, and we hope they inspire others to take a chance on them the way we have.

      For us, this website something of a reference and a record of what we've done.  These meetings are just too much fun to keep to ourselves, and there is so much wine out there that we would like to share our experience, especially if it can help anyone else find a bottle to help them through the night!
